We are proud to be mentioned by Which? magazine

As the lockdown eases in the UK, holidays have started to operate again and today we had some good news from the FCO that their advice against ocean cruising does not apply to river cruising.

We have sadly cancelled many trips throughout the last few months, but we are pleased to be able to recommence in September and October. Customers that were affected by the cancelled trips were offered to transfer to an alternative holiday in 2021, or if not, offered a full cash refund.

Discover Egypt and Jordan is pleased to be commended by Which? Magazine as “one of the best small holiday companies that you can trust with your money”, having consistently complied with EU Package laws in refunding customers within 14 day.

Hotels in Egypt are rapidly coming up to speed with new hygiene procedures implemented by the Egyptian government and these are very similar to those imposed in Europe. It is worth to point out that already over the last 20 years, Discover Egypt has always implemented a very strict hygiene regime on its cruise boats and there have always been hand sanitising stations, sanitised towels on entering the boat and covers protecting all buffet food. We will continue to monitor enhanced health and safety protocols for the well being of all our customers.

This Autumn/Winter is a good time to go particularly as the weather is most pleasant and not too hot. We predict that the sites will be much quieter and less crowded with smaller tour groups and temples and Museums limiting the numbers of people allowed into sites. Overall, the holiday experience is likely to be much more bespoke and intimate.
