Itinerary - Amman 3 nights BB/Dead Sea 1 night BB/Petra 2 nights BB/Aqaba 1 night BB

Day 1: Depart UK Afternoon flight with Royal Jordanian from London Heathrow to Amman. Upon arrival at Queen Alia Airport you will be transferred to your hotel for 2 nights.

Day 2: A morning city tour of Amman to include a visit to the citadel & the archaeological museum then continue to visit Jerash the most well preserved Roman City. In the afternoon visit Ajloun castle before returning your hotel in Amman.

Day 3: After breakfast depart to visit two of the Despoils cities Pella & Um Qais. We start the day at Pella the favourite of archaeologists it is exceptionally rich in antiquities. Continue to Um Qais site of the famous Gadarene swine was renowned in its time as a cultural centre. Um Qais boasts an impressive colonnaded terrace and the ruins of two theatres. Continue to visit Bethany beyond the Jordan the area where Jesus Christ was baptized by John the Baptist. Overnight stay at the Dead Sea resort.

Day 4: After breakfast we head to Madaba to see the famous mosaic floor at St George church then continue to visit Mt Nebo before ending at Petra and overnight.

Day 5: Full day visiting Petra the Rose Red City. Overnight at hotel.

Day 6: After breakfast, depart to Wadi Rum to enjoy Jordan's desert landscape, experience the sandy desert on board 4x4 vehicles driven by the local Bedouins. The tour is around 1 hour. Afterwards continue to Aqaba City on the Red Sea and overnight at hotel.

Day 7: Morning at leisure in Aqaba to explore this ancient port. Late afternoon depart for the drive back to Amman and overnight.

Day 8: Depart after breakfast to Queen Alia Airport for the flight back to the UK
