• They could not have made our trip more enjoyable- Feb 18 2013

  We had a wonderful time cruising down the Nile on the Viking Princess, They could not have made our trip more enjoyable. Cabin's were great and very confortable, facilities were good, restaurant and food were excellent, higene was top of there list and there was anti-bacterial containers postioned on every floor and outside the restaurant, entertainment was enjoyable and where the customers participated it was even better. The excursions were always on time and very interesting , the guide Mohsen was very knowledgeable and spoke very good english and looked after us at all time especially when the ladies were being pestered by the street vendors. cabins on board were cleaned at least twice a day with fresh towels, with the weather being glorious it made a silver wedding anniversary trip even more enjoyable along with the many friends that we made who we will keep incontact with. I would thoroughly recommend anyone who is thinking of going on a Nile cruise to do so as it is a opportunity not to be missed, you see so much and learn things about ancient egypt that you previously did not know. All this was recorded on a dvd which we were able to purchase at the end of our cruise and we will play it back on many occasions to remind us of the wonderful time we had on our cruise. Once again thank you very much Ian for booking this trip for us and we will not hesitate in passing your name and business cards to our friends and family for any future holiday's. Chris & Bonita

• A holiday to remember

  Carole and I would like to send our thanks and praise to everyone involved in our (Viking Princess 03 Dec 2012) Nile Cruise from which we have recently returned.When we arrived at our boat we were not disappointed and all through the cruise all the staff - reception - restaurant - cabins etc were attentive and polite and we could not have wished for better.The food was exceptional. Whilst the temples had nothing to do with you they also did not disappoint their majestic columns and colours were a sight to behold. • I haven't stopped smiling..

  Just returned from my first ever Nile Cruise (24.09 - 01.10) on Viking Princess. I cannot recommend this trip highly enough. From start to finish the organisation was impeccable with the planned and included excursions right up to the optional trips and the size of the Viking Princess meant that we were treated as individuals with unfaltering service throughout. Every member of the crew was fantastic and worked incredibly hard to ensure that our every need was met.Our lovely guide Sherry's breadth of knowledge, passion and enthusiasm steered us through the ages of ancient Egypt.The boat was impeccably clean, the food fantastic and prepared to the highest of standards. I have been home just over a day and haven't stopped smiling.Sally.

• The whole holiday was just amazing

  I am writing this email today to say a big thank you for our recent Nile cruise on the Viking Princess. The whole holiday was just amazing. From the service and food to the nice blend of excursions and nightly entertainment. The ships staff and tour guides were excellent offering excellent advice and safety. The whole holiday was just amazing and so well planned by yourselves. I can’t recommend your company enough and have been to friends and family. I will be back for another cruise

• Absolutely fantastic

  I travelled with a friend on a Nile Cruise aboard the Viking Princess. It was the first time in Egypt for both of us. We found the staff extremely helpful and friendly, the food was very good and our tour guide Mohammed Agalil was absolutely fantastic. His amazing knowledge, passion and enthusiasm absolutely made the holiday for us. We consider ourselves fortunate to have had Mohammed as our guide, as we think he is, without a doubt, the best. I would certainly book again through Discover Egypt – from start to finish, we were looked after.

• We enjoyed every aspect of

  I just wanted to let you know how satisfied we were with our recent Nile Cruise holiday. (6th Feb. - 13th Feb) We were on board Viking Princess. We enjoyed every aspect of our holiday and our guide Hussein was excellent. All the inclusive trips were fantastic and extra optional excursions to Abu Simbel and bird watching on the Nile were wonderful and well worth while. Every aspect of the holiday was well organised from arrival in Luxor airport to departure. All the guides were extremely helpful and the staff on board were friendly and efficient. • Viking Princess and Mercure Le Sphinx

  Thank you for arranging an incredible holiday. The cruise was fantastic and it's a great company to go with. We saw a few of the other Nile cruise ships and the Viking Princess is by far the best. The reps and the guides were great in explaining everything and it was so luxurious! The excursions was so well organised and I learnt so much. Cairo was really great as well.The hotel(Mercure Le Sphinx) was really clean with great views of the pyramids and really friendly staff. The pool is great as is the spa and there are beautiful grounds. Thank you! Sarah and Dave

• Worked like clockwork

  We have just returned from our Egyptian trip and I have to compliment Discover Egypt for the organization of our trip. It worked like clockwork. All the transfers were extremely efficient. The Nile Cruise was remarkable and we both felt handled very well. Our guides were very knowledgeable in fact what they didn't know about Egypt was not worth knowing. The hotel in Cairo was lovely overlooking the Pyramids and the tours in Cairo were also extremely well organized. In fact we did not have one complaint about the whole trip. I will definitely promote Discover Egypt to any of my friends who want to do this journey and there seems to be quite a bit of interest. • Amazing 10 days!

  Hi there We have just spent the most amazing 10 days - 7 days sailing on Royal Viking on the Nile with stops at Temples and the Valley of the Kings on the way then on to Cairo to see the Pyramids and downtown Cairo. I can't praise Discover Egypt enough. Your reps and guides looked after us every step of the way from the moment we arrived in Egypt until we got back on the plane to fly home. Facilities on the Royal Viking and at the Ramses Hilton were outstanding. The service was excellent and all done with a smile. I never felt any unwillingness, only a genuine desire to see we were well looked after. I would especially like to mention Amira Zaki who was our guide on the Nile cruise and Ayman Fathy who was with us for our day at the pyramids and Saqqara. Their knowledge and enthusiasm is second to none. Not only did we hear about ancient Egypt but we were also given an insight into modern day Egypt. It all made the holiday that much more memorable and they are to be commended for their efforts and the constant high standard of their work. I shall definitely recommend this holiday. • Classic Egypt

  I would just like to offer my thanks for the faultless arrangements you oversaw for our recent cruise on the Nile and hotel stay in Cairo Egypt. I would have no hesitation in recommending fellow Brits to take a cruise on the Nile, particularly the MS Royal Viking, where the cleanliness and catering arrangements were first class. The staff were both friendly and accommodating. The local Agent “Discover Egypt” has some excellent Guides who spoke English fluently, whilst having a commanding knowledge of their local history.
