Itinerary

• Day 1 Luxor: Fly from UK to Luxor. Upon arrival private transfer to the 5 star Old Winter Palace in Luxor for 1 night on bed & breakfast basis.

• Day 2 Luxor Temples: Morning at leisure before transferring to the Alexander The Great. After a buffet lunch you will take your first excursion to visit the temples of Luxor and Karnak. A la carte dinner and overnight on board in Luxor

• Day 3 West Bank: An early morning visit to the Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut's Temple and the Colossi of Memnon. On arrival back at the boat, a buffet lunch will be served and the boat will set sail for Esna. Afternoon tea will be served on The Club sun deck. In the evening enjoy a welcome cocktail and presentation of the yacht's crew in the lounge bar (smart dress). After an a la carte dinner in the restaurant, watch a Nubian dance show in the comfort of the lounge bar. Overnight Esna

• Day 4 Edfu: Early morning sail to Edfu. Wake up at leisure and after breakfast, visit the Temple of Edfu. Afterwards, the boat will sail to Kom Ombo while you enjoy lunch in the Red Fiesta restaurant. In the evening there will be an Egyptian BBQ dinner on the sun deck with the opportunity for guests to dress up in traditional Egyptian costumes. Overnight in Kom Ombo.

• Day 5 Aswan: Early morning sail to Aswan. Morning tour by felucca (sail boat) around the islands. Lunch on board. In the afternoon, visit the High Dam, the Unfinished Obelisk and the Temple of Philae. Overnight on board in Aswan.

• Day 6 Abu Simbel: Spend the morning at leisure on board the boat or wandering around Aswan. Alternatively, you may wish to take an optional excursion to the Temple of Abu Simbel, Egypt's greatest monument after the Pyramids. This impressive trip is either by air-conditioned coach (approx £85) or by air (£195) and can be arranged locally by your guide.

• Day 7 Kom Ombo: Today the boat will sail from Aswan to Kom Ombo in the early morning. After breakfast the day will begin with a morning visit on foot to the Temple of Kom Ombo. Afterwards the boat sails to Esna while lunch is served on board. Afternoon tea is served on The Club sun deck. Dinner followed by evening entertainment whilst overnight in Esna.

• Day 8 Luxor : Upon arrival in Luxor, disembark and transfer to your chosen hotel in Luxor for stay of 7 nights.

• Days 9-14 Luxor: Time to relax and enjoy the many fascinating sights and sounds that Luxor has to offer. Visit the vast Temple of Hathor at Denderah, wonder at the stunning carvings at Abydos or stroll through the vibrant markets of Luxor itself.

• Day 15: Transfer to the airport for your return flight to the UK.
